TGIF!

Update on Schools in South Korea

We have been delayed until the 6th of April.  Some Co-Teachers are reaching out to their Native English Teacher (NET) counterparts to send online work for students to access materials and practice remotely.  I have offered to do this, but thus far, my Co-Teachers have not asked me to prep any online resources.  I hope to be given permission to go to the schools a few days during the next two weeks to better familiarize myself with my surroundings, and also to better focus on lesson planning.  Staying in my apartment all day every day with Netflix and Disney+ at my fingertips has proven quite unproductive. On a positive note, I finally watched Frozen II !

My Co-teacher made me a delicious soup the other day with vegetables and tofu, because I had mentioned not feeling well the night before. When she brought it to me, she said “It doesn’t smell great, but it will help your immune system”. I enjoyed the delicious soup and the smell was nice! It made me reminisce on the times my parents would make chicken noodle soup, with Papa’s homemade noodles, when I was sick.

If your kids have any questions they would want to ask to Korean kids, please send those questions to my email.  I will try my best to get some answers:

  1. I ,too, watched Frozen 2. Impressed with the ending, not so much story line. Love your blog, look forward to it, even. Stay safe, praying
